…新しいアイデアは、多様性があふれた環境とカジュアルなスタイルの時にさらにうまれやすくなる…

COP期間中に、CCWG（東京大学の学生の方々による気候変動のワーキンググループ）主催によるワールドカフェというイベントに参加してきました。

会場は、おしゃれなカフェ。カジュアルな雰囲気のなか、日本、台湾、中国、ポーランドなどからの参加者が熱く語り合いました。

まずは３団体（CCWG、TWYCCCという台湾の気候変動のユース団体、CYJ）がそれぞれの活動紹介プレゼンの紹介をしたあと、

グループに分かれてディスカッション。テーマは、もしグループが一つのユースのグループだとしたら、「どんなロゴやキャラクターを作って、気候変動に関するどんなアクションをするか？」

“COP期間中のCO2排出量を公開しよう“ “高校から大学の橋渡しとなる環境キャリア教育が必要“”自国の言葉でポストカードに言葉を書いて、アピールをしたらどうか”など、様々な意見が出ました。

国を超えて、共通した問題を解決したいとの情熱にあふれた参加者の交流は、本当に充実した時間でした。

--- New idea can be born when talking in a casual manner in a fancy café…

We participated in an event called world café initiated by CCWG (Climate Change Working Group) from the University of Tokyo.

The venue was a fancy café in Warszawa. The participants from China, Taiwan, Poland and Japan passionately discussed.

At the beginning, 3 organizations including CCWG, TWYCC (Taiwan Youth Climate Coalition) and CYJ made a presentation about their own activities. Then, we were separated into some groups and proceeded into discussion with the questions “If we represent a youth group, what kind of logo or character will make and what kind of action will we plan to take.

“Revealing CO2 emissions from COP conference” “Education on environmental jobs bridging high school and college” “ Writing messages in their own language on a postcard”

It was really inspiriting to interact with the participants beyond the borders who are all have strong passion for solving the common issue.
